As a firm we are constantly considering our responses to the Covid 19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, receiving advice from PHE (Public Health England) and the Law Society, and considering what contingency measures we may need to put in place as the situation escalates. We are determined to do all we can to ensure a continuous service for all our clients.
For the protection of clients and staff we have temporarily closed our main office building at 22 Upper Woburn Place. We have put in place the following measures:
- All our staff can work remotely
- Meeting and conferences may be held via telephone, Skype, or video conferencing. If there is a need to rearrange meetings presently arranged so that they can take place in this way please contact us.
- Our operating systems can all be accessed remotely, including our administration and telephone system
- All calls to the office number (020 7935 3522) will automatically be transferred to the mobile telephones of our receptionists who will continue to operate during normal office hours
We have been informed that during the current phase of the coronavirus outbreak, the business of HMCTS courts and tribunals continues, although many hearings may take place via telephone or via an internet link, and others may have to be adjourned. Any changes to individual hearings will be communicated directly to those affected in the usual way, usually by email and/or phone. We will keep our clients updated particularly if this changes.
By putting in place these contingency measures we intend to continue offering as normal a service as possible throughout the duration of this unwelcome pandemic; and by working together we are confident we can find solutions to any problems arising, thereby lessening the impact on our clients.
