Share Article: “Celebrate endings—for they precede new beginnings.” Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Having founded the practice over 25 years ago Howard Freeman has announced that from 1st April 2022 he will be stepping down as the Managing Partner of Freemans Law LLP. After Howard started the firm he has been an integral figure in the growth and expansion of what has become a top ranked and highly regarded London law firm. His contribution to Freemans is immeasurable and the whole team here will forever be grateful to him for his inspiring leadership, knowledge, and overall kind and approachable nature.

Whilst Howard is stepping down as Managing Partner, he is by no means leaving Freemans. He will continue to focus his attention on his clients and his property work. In his very own words, he will still be standing.

Whilst we are saddened that Howard will no longer be the Managing Partner of Freemans, we know that he will continue to be an important and key figure for the practice moving forward.

With that, we are delighted to announce his worthy successor and new Managing Partner, Oluwole Osibona.

Oluwole has been a part of the Freemans team since 1996. In 1998 he became a Partner and the Head of the Immigration and Nationality Department. His department has grown from strength to strength with cases being heard at all levels of Court, including the Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights. As well as his immense hard work in establishing a successful Immigration department Oluwole has experience in sports law. He has represented many well-known domestic and international footballers. Oluwole is highly regarded amongst his peers and truly appreciated by his clients and those that have the pleasure of working with him. He is an expert in his areas of practice and has a reputation for his practical and sensible approach in complex cases with positive outcomes for the clients that he represents.

The team at Freemans are very excited by Oluwole’s appointment as Managing Partner and look forward to a bright new chapter for the firm.

Finally, we appreciate that the last few years have been difficult globally and remain so to this day. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our clients for their continued support. The provision of the very best advice to our clients in a caring manner remains at the forefront of our ethos.
