Share Article: Sentence of 28 months imposed for attempted robbery

Our client pleaded guilty to one count of attempted robbery and was sentenced to 28 months imprisonment.  The Defendant was charged with attempting to forcibly take a high-value watch from a member of the public. He was unsuccessful and arrested at the scene by plain-clothed police. Southwark Crown Court heard that the Defendant had a number of relevant previous convictions from other jurisdictions, including 19 theft convictions from Spain and Belgium. The Defendant was given full credit for his guilty plea.

Harriet Pringle was the solicitor in the case and Elizabeth Garcia was instructed as counsel to represent him.
