We are delighted to announce that we have been included into The Times Best Law Firms 2026 publication.
Our family department were commended for their extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of family law including children (private, public, international) and matrimonial finance. The publication highlighted the team’s recent success in a complex children law matter where a mother had made various allegations against our client, the child’s father. After a four-week fact finding hearing the Court concluded that the allegations had been fabricated, resulting in the child now living with their father.
Additionally, the recent success of immigration department and criminal department were also highlighted. Our immigration team for their recent representation of an Afghan judge in a case where a decision had been made under the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy. The team’s involvement resulted in High Court clarifying the law reshaping the legal thresholds for Afghan allies seeking sanctuary under UK government schemes. Our criminal department for the successful acquittal of a pharmacist who had been charged with murdering his elderly frail father. The defence successfully argued that this was not a case of murder but assisted suicide; a highly topical issue with the “Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill” currently being debated in Parliament.
