Funlola Oluwole

Funlola is a Trainee Solicitor with Freemans and is currently in the Immigration Department. She joined Freemans in May 2022 as a Paralegal in the Family Department, assisting the matrimonial finances team with their cases.

Funlola graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2019 with a LLB law degree and was a winner of the ‘best contribution by a team of students’ award at the LawWorks and Attorney General’s Student Pro Bono Awards 2018, for her work in the university’s Free Legal Advice Group. Funlola also completed her LPC LLM at the University of Law and received a high distinction on her master’s dissertation on surrogacy. Funlola still enjoys writing about the law.

Prior to joining Freemans, Funlola was a paralegal at a specialist family law firm.

In her spare time, Funlola enjoys going to the gym, cooking and watching reality TV.
