Arjun Mediratta

Arjun joined Freemans in March 2022 as a member of the Litigation Team. He regularly assists clients on an array of litigated issues and has acted for a range of clients including high-net individuals; start-ups; SMEs and listed companies. He has dealt with an extensive range of matters in the High Court,  First-Tier Property Tribunal, and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court. He gained a BSc in Political Science and Economics from Brunel University, London. After graduating and deciding on a career in law, Arjun went on to complete the GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) and his MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, Bloomsbury. Arjun qualified as a Solicitor in June 2021 from a well-established Manchester firm which worked with multinational fast-fashion brands, supermarkets to institutional landlords. Having completed seats in Real Estate, Private Client, and Immigration, he qualified in the Litigation team.

Notable matters that he has worked on include:

1. Renegotiation of a lease for a Supermarket chain with a multinational retailer.
2. Working with an emergency Housing provider on developing their short-term licencing agreements.
3. Defending a large importer against a multinational Dutch conglomerate.
4. Recovering substantial unpaid invoices for a listed fashion-brand.
5. Adverse possession for a notable hardware manufacturer.

Arjun is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, he believes in providing a personal service to clients and is often applauded for keeping commerciality in mind. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, tennis and travelling.
