Balbit Thandi

Balbit is an extremely experienced Real Estate lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in the sector. She specialises in sales and acquisitions, landlord and tenant and secured lending, with a particular emphasis on advising and dealing with investment property portfolios.

Prior to joining Freemans, Balbit was a partner with Thomas Eggar (which merged with Irwin Mitchell in 2015) for over 12 years, and Head of the Real Estate team in Gatwick.

Balbit acts for a range of clients, including large property funds, private property companies, retailers, owner-occupiers, HNW individuals, lenders, charities and educational establishments.

Balbit is highly rated and praised by her clients for her service excellence. She is known for her hard work, technical ability and speed of delivery, whilst maintaining a personal touch and attention to detail.

Outside of work, her top priority is her family: she is married with four children. During any spare time, she tries to keep fit by running half-marathons but not training for them!
