Carolyn Stirk

Carolyn works with Hilka Hollmann as her paralegal and provides general support to the Family Department.

Carolyn graduated with a degree in East Asian Studies from Leeds University and went on to work in local government in Japan for three years. Following her return to the United Kingdom, she gained experience in an international conflict resolution NGO before joining a leading immigration law firm, where she worked for almost ten years. Carolyn has completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course and, prior to joining Freemans, she took a career break in order to raise and spend time with her two children.

Over time and through volunteering as Safeguarding Officer for a charity run pre-school, Carolyn developed an interest in the laws relating to children, which prompted her return to law and into Freemans Family Department.
