Emma works hard to help clients achieve the best possible result on a wide range of family matters, including divorce, financial remedies and issues relating to children. She has been involved in a number of reported cases.
Emma has been a solicitor in Freemans’ Family Department since December 2018, having joined Freemans as an intern in March 2016. She has a Master’s degree in family law, with her dissertation on domestic abuse and the criminalisation of forced marriages. Emma gained a commendation on the Legal Practice Course, with a distinction in family law, from the University of Law London.
As a member of Resolution, Emma strives to conduct matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way and was appointed to the YRes committee in March 2020. However, she is a fierce litigator when the need arises.
Emma is a volunteer for Rights of Women, and is a founding member of the charity committee at Freemans and participates in other voluntary work in her free time.
