Lucy is a Solicitor in the Family Team advising on a broad range of private and public family law issues. Lucy’s work includes advising parents in relation to residence and contact issues, leave to remove and rights of access under Article 21 of the 1980 Hague Convention as well as advising parents on Local Authority involvement including the PLO process and care proceedings. Lucy has assisted parents in obtaining injunctions and protective orders, including non-molestation orders, prohibited steps orders and occupation orders.
Lucy trained at Freemans under the supervision of Nina Hansen and qualified as a solicitor in 2024. Lucy continued working closely with Nina post-qualification assisting on complex children cases both domestic and international including parental child abduction and wardship matters.
Lucy is ranked a Recommended Lawyer in the 2026 edition of Legal 500 and is recognised for her work in private and public law children cases as well as cases involving the vulnerable and domestic abuse.
As a member of Resolution, Lucy seeks to resolve disputes constructively and practically. Lucy was appointed to sit on the Resolution National YRes Committee in August 2025 to assist and ensure that YRes remains at the heart of all Resolution work, and that junior practitioners are integrated with Resolution at all levels.
Lucy graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a First in English Literature and History of Art and achieved distinctions in both the GDL and LPC at the University of Law.
