Rebecca graduated from Nottingham Trent University, with an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Law with a commendation in professional placement. She completed her professional placement at Freemans in 2016, where she was mainly based in the immigration department. After graduating, Rebecca went on to complete the LPC LLM programme at BPP University, London.
Prior to joining Freemans, Rebecca worked at a law firm specialising in employment law which overlaps with some of her immigration work. Rebecca qualified as a Solicitor in March 2023.
Rebecca has experience in advising private clients across a range of business and personal immigration matters, specifically in dealing with cases within the Immigration Rules for entry clearance and in-country applications. Her private immigration work includes advising clients on matters relating to Settlement, Family Members under Appendix FM, Sponsor Compliance, EU Settlement Scheme, Nationality, Unmarried and Spouse visa and Human Right applications. Rebecca also undertakes work in private immigration matters such as court appeals, Further and Indefinite Leave to Remain applications and Student visas.
Outside of work, Rebecca is a mentor under The Diana Award Mentoring Programme. Rebecca mentors and supports young people in schools by delivering self-development sessions. She is also a volunteer at Great Ormond Street Hospital providing practical support to patients.
