Samantha Harris joined Freemans Solicitors in May 2022 as a Solicitor in the Family Department.
Samantha trained on the South Coast but is now making her name in London as ‘one to watch’. She is an empathetic and tenacious lawyer who works tirelessly to achieve the best results for her clients.
Samantha has experience in all aspect of family law but specialises in children law. This includes public law care proceedings, private law children disputes and some child abduction and relocation cases. Samantha became a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel in September 2023 and is now able to represent children directly and through their Guardians.
Samantha qualified as a Solicitor in 2019. She graduated from the University of Kent with a First Class Honours degree in Law. During her time at university, Samantha volunteered at the university law clinic working on cases including a complaint to the Ombudsman where she received compensation for her clients and was featured in the Law Society Gazette. After university, Samantha went onto study the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law obtaining a Distinction and a Masters degree in Legal Practice. Upon completion of the LPC, Samantha gained experience as a paralegal before commencing her training contract at a firm in Essex.
