This week is #FamilyMediationWeek (from 16th to 20th January 2023). The week is organised by the Family Mediation Council, a not-for-profit organisation, whose aim is to promote the use of family mediation for the benefit of the public. It is a week designed to raise awareness of the benefits of family mediation.
Family mediation is a process in which an independent, professionally trained, mediator helps you to work out arrangements for children and finances following a separation, whilst avoiding the stress, delay and cost of court proceedings. Professional mediators help empower you to create long-term solutions tailored for your particular circumstances, rather than leaving it to a court to make decisions for your family.
During #FamilyMediationWeek there will be free events about how family mediation can help if you are separating.
